Riann was featured in a newspaper article in the Daily Bulletin of Rancho Cucamonga, announcing her win in the 2010 Junior National Olympics held on June 28 - July 3, 2010 in Orlando Florida. besting 9 other kids in her division in Forms to become a National Champion. She competed 5 times in her division and won all unanimous decision, she and her Elite Team mates have performed really well in this competition, they have won total of 7 medals. and 3 of them became National Champion in their respective divisions.
