Hayley Alexis Jue, a 3rd grader from Woodlands, TX was motivated to compete in Taekwondo tournaments by watching and following Riann in her competitions.  One of the very first Youtube videos on Poomsae that she watched was the 2010 Junior Olympics that featured Riann winning the gold medal as a Green Belt.  Inspired by Riann's success and learning Taegeuk 3 primarily through watching Riann's championship video, Hayley who had never competed before, entered her first local tournament, where she won her first Grand Championship by performing the same form and defeating 16 boys in the process. Hayley followed that with gold medals in poomsae at the Texas State Championships, the Regional Qualifier, and ultimately the National Champion title in the 8-9 Green Belt division at the 2011 Junior Olympics.  In addition, she has also won four Grand Championships.Hayley attributes much of her success to Riann's videos and appreciates that she has shared her website with up-and-coming novice Taekwondo competitors.  Riann has truly been an inspiration and role model to Hayley.  She continues to fine-tune and hone her poomsae skills by watching Riann's videos (sent privately now) and also enjoys viewing her website for the latest updated information on her competitions.  Hayley plans to continue with poomsae and hopes to follow in Riann's footsteps and compete at the US Open next year when she becomes age eligible. - Hayley's Mom


UPDATE:
Sept 2015
-Hayley won Gold at the PanAm Championship and Bronze at the PanAm Open


-Hayley won the 2015 USA Poomsae Team Trial becoming a US National Poomsae Team member for Cadet division and Riann winning the Junior division, they now both have the same Coach, Master Elva Pai Adams from San Antonio TX (World Champion competitor, Coach and International referee)

UPDATE:
-2012 Junior Olympics (Dallas TX) 
-Hayley won Bronze in Board breaking and Gold in Poomsae to become National Champion in ---Red Belt 8-9 years old (following in the footsteps of Riann)


-Feb. 19, 2013 Both Riann and Hayley will be competing in the US Open Taekwondo Championship (Las Vegas, NV) Update:  2/19/2013, Riann and Hayley both got Bronze Medal in the individual event, and Riann got a Silver for the Pairs.
